東北観光PR企画にて御箱崎の宿が取り上げられました！ 📣 独立行政法人国際観光振興機構（JNTO）による東北地域の観光地紹介企画に、御箱崎の宿が取材を受けました。
取材の中では、実際に御箱崎の宿にご宿泊いただき、一泊二食の「うにしゃぶ」コースをお楽しみいただきました。
The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) featured the Tohoku region in a tourism promotion project, during which Ohakozaki no Yado was interviewed.
As part of the coverage, the JNTO team stayed at Ohakozaki no Yado and enjoyed our one-night, two-meal “Uni Shabu” dinner course.

東海大学観光学部・遠藤ゼミの学生が釜石の魅力を伝える展示を開催！ 東海大学建学祭にて、観光学部・遠藤ゼミの学生による釜石の紹介展示が行われました！
その中では、今年度6月と10月に箱崎白浜地区を訪れ、地域の方々との交流を深める中で学んだことや、地域が抱える課題について、学生の視点で見つめ直した内容が紹介されました。
At Tokai University’s school Festival, students from the Faculty of Tourism, Endo Seminar, held an exhibition introducing Kamaishi.
The exhibition featured insights gained from visits to the Hakozaki-Shirahama area in June and October this year, highlighting what the students learned through interaction with local residents. It also presented the challenges facing the community, reexamined from the students’ own perspectives.

Superb service- they picked us up at the train station as well as dropped us off at the end of the stay so don’t worry about the lodging looking far on the map
Amazing meals- definitely get the meals. So much delicious food that we could barely finish it allmoreWelcoming town- everyone we interacted with and especially the people running the inn were genuinely kind and lovely. We were invited to the community center for the high school kids to perform a toramai (dance performed by two people dressed as tigers)
Spacious- the lodging itself was HUGE with lots of beds and sinks. It could comfortably fit 8 people
Highly recommend this inn and the town as a whole. -

清潔で食事も美味しく、満足でした。
みちのく潮風トレイルを歩く人にとって、このお宿があるかないかで結構難易度が変わってきますので、機会があればオススメしようと思います。 -

Had a wonderful stay at Ohakozakinoyado. You feel welcome and staff enjoy showcasing local culture and foods. Comfortable, clean, appointed with everything you need.
moreIt’s a bit far from public transportation but staff arranged rides for us to and from the train station. The inn also sits right along the Michinoku Coastal Trail so would be perfect for those through-hiking.
